The multi-talented Carlos Beltran amassed numbers worthy of induction at Cooperstown. With over 1,000 extra-base hits including more than 400 homers, Beltrán’s regular season numbers say he’s a Hall of Famer.
Add in 1,500+ RBI and 300+ stolen bases and it’s easy to appreciate the former Rookie of the Year.
Beltran’s postseason numbers are even better. On baseball’s biggest stage he has a 1.078 career OPS with stolen 11 bases in 11 attempts — a record for playoff theft proficiency. In 55 postseason contests Beltrán has a .323 average with 16 homers, 41 runs batted in, and a .432 on-base percentage.

Beltran not only has the counting numbers – 2,725 hits, 435 homers, 1,582 RBI – for Cooperstown, he also has the hardware to go with it.
Beltran burst on the big league scene earning the 1999 Rookie of the Year Award. By the time his 20-year career was over, Beltran also had three Gold Gloves, two Silver Sluggers, the Roberto Clemente Award, and nine All Star rings.
In the collection is the document Beltran signed to receive a ring from the 2011 Midsummer Classic.
A stellar post season performer, Beltran played in 15 October Series spanning 65 games. He hit .307 with a .412 on-base percentage, 16 homers, and 42 runs batted in. Beltran was 11-for-11 in stolen base attempts.
He has quite a case for Cooperstown.
